CEO & Founder
Zak is a three time founder, having been the technical co-founder of SwingSpace and launching HomeTour and OfficeTour before launching AskHumans. Zak started and ran DupontStudios from 2014–2022, a Ruby on Rails development shop. Prior to DupontStudios, Zak worked in Private Equity and Finance. He holds a BA from Morehouse College and a MPP in Economics & Policy from Harvard University.
CTO
Murtaza oversees engineering for AskHumans. With over 12 years of experience as a software engineer, Murtaza has worked with both startups and large organizations. He has extensive experience in building and managing engineering teams, as well as assisting organizations in developing products that align with their goals and add value.
Front End Developer
Sanan is a skilled Front End Developer specializing in JavaScript frameworks. He also worked on HomeTour and OfficeTour, showcasing expertise in dynamic and static website development. Sanan's proficiency extends to both mobile and desktop applications, highlighting a versatile skill set in front-end development. His commitment to staying updated with the latest trends ensures he contributes to AskHumans with cutting-edge and user-friendly interfaces.
Senior Backend Engineer
Umar is a skilled Senior Backend Engineer at AskHumans with over nine years of experience designing and scaling backend systems and cloud infrastructure for AI-driven SaaS platforms. He builds and maintains AskHumans' core backend services on NestJS and TypeScript, alongside the AI processing pipelines running on AWS Lambda and Google Cloud Functions. Umar's proficiency extends to integrating advanced AI tools, real-time streaming, and event-driven serverless architectures across the AskHumans platform. His commitment to clean architecture and reliable engineering ensures he contributes to AskHumans with scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services.
Designer
Anastasiia is a UX/UI designer with a robust background in UX research, securing 8+ respondents for in-depth interviews within a week. Her expertise extends to working on complex projects, including Workflow Automation Web Apps, Finance Management Platforms, E-Commerce, and more. She has also overseen the entire design process for a startup. Her approach centers on prioritizing user needs while strategically aligning with business objectives.
