Redesigned meeting details: once a meeting has been recorded, each point under “Focus on the following” shows a short summary of what was actually said about it. Click a point to open a card with the full summary and the transcript excerpts that back it up — the same view as the web app.
Pre-meeting questions now fill that same list until the AI follow-ups are generated, so replies participants have already given are visible right away instead of staying hidden until the analysis runs. Open a point to read each participant’s reply.
Anyone viewing a meeting can now open a point’s feedback — previously only the meeting owner could.
Fixed resuming a paused recording starting over from the last saved transcript instead of continuing with the live one. Resume now keeps everything transcribed so far.
Fixed the transcript view going blank or stale while a recording is paused. The live transcript stays visible, and assigning transcript to participants works while paused.
Fixed the meeting’s saved transcript falling out of sync with the live recording, which could leave an empty or outdated transcript after stopping and starting again.
Fixed a recording that picked up no speech replacing the meeting’s saved transcript with an empty one.
Fixed starting a recording again on an existing meeting so it always continues from the meeting’s saved transcript. Participant assignments made after stopping are kept, and words transcribed just after you pressed Stop are no longer lost.

Navigator: ask questions about your meetings, discussions, and presentations right from the desktop app. Type a question or ask it out loud by voice, pick which sources to search, see suggested questions, and revisit your past questions from the history panel.
Folders and tags: organize meetings into folders, add tags to meetings, and filter the meetings list by folder or tag. Folders can be renamed, given a description, and have meetings added or removed in bulk.
Assign transcript to participants: select part of a transcript bubble and assign it to the right participant, or create a new participant on the spot, so speaker attribution is accurate after the meeting.
Live discussion check marks: while recording, the points under “Focus on the following” are checked against the transcript every minute and ticked off as they come up, so you can see at a glance what still needs to be covered.
Meeting detection now shows the meeting’s actual title (for example “Sprint Planning”) in the banner and tray instead of a generic “Google Meet” label.
Organization permissions: the app now respects your role’s permissions. Members without permission to create meetings see a clear notice instead of the create button, and a new Getting Started card on the dashboard walks new users through connecting a calendar and watching the overview.
Outlook calendar: connecting or reconnecting Outlook now hands off to your signed-in web browser, and the desktop calendar refreshes automatically when you come back.
Fixed a blank window that could appear on launch when your session had expired. The app now returns to the login screen instead.
Fixed live transcription and discussion updates dropping after a session refresh by renewing credentials on every reconnect.
Security: meeting links and tokens are no longer written to the diagnostic logs.

Fixed a bug where a recording could stop on its own partway through a Google Meet call — often followed by the “meeting detected” popup reappearing, sometimes right after you resumed. AskHumans now treats a failed meeting check as “couldn’t tell” rather than “the meeting ended”, so recordings keep running through the busy moments (screen sharing, heavy CPU load) that used to trip it up.

AskHumans now automatically retries connecting to your microphone if it doesn’t start on the first try, so a brief hiccup accessing your mic no longer stops a recording before it begins.
If a recording drops out in the middle of a meeting, AskHumans now quietly restarts it a few times before giving up — so a momentary glitch is far less likely to cost you part of the conversation.

Opening a meeting link now takes you straight to that meeting once you've signed in, instead of dropping you on the dashboard — so shared “Open in desktop app” links land exactly where you expect.
Fixed spurious “Network Error” messages at startup. When AskHumans launches automatically at login before your connection is ready, it now waits for the network and quietly retries instead of showing errors.

AskHumans now shuts down cleanly when you restart, shut down, or log out of your computer. Previously it could hold up the process — on macOS you'd see an “AskHumans failed to quit” message — so now your shutdown or restart goes through without interruption.
