The latest improvements and fixes shipped to the AskHumans desktop app.
v2.0.27LATEST
June 17, 2026
AskHumans now shuts down cleanly when you restart, shut down, or log out of your computer. Previously it could hold up the process — on macOS you'd see an “AskHumans failed to quit” message — so now your shutdown or restart goes through without interruption.
v2.0.26
June 3, 2026
Fixed a Windows issue where clicking the AskHumans icon at the start of a call didn’t bring the window back — the app could appear closed, leaving you unable to start recording. Clicking AskHumans now reliably reopens the window so you’re always ready to capture your meeting.
v2.0.25
May 26, 2026
This is the signed version of the application.
v2.0.24
May 22, 2026
Changed notification design.
Fixed UI issues on the dashboard.
Fixed meeting detection when already in a meeting.
Fixed auto stop issue.
Fixed the check-for-update issue.
v2.0.23
May 21, 2026
Brand-new notes editor on the meeting details page — AI-generated summaries now appear as editable bullets and paragraphs you can rewrite, reorder, and extend with your own notes in the same surface.
Hover any bullet or paragraph to reveal a source icon — click it to see the exact transcript snippets the AI used to write that point, laid out as a chat (your mic on the right, others on the left).
Notes auto-save about 1.5 seconds after you stop typing — no save button, no lost edits.
Re-running Generate summary now prepends the fresh sections above your existing notes instead of silently doing nothing when the AI returns the same section structure.
Editing a section heading no longer causes the section to reappear duplicated on the next reload, and sections you delete stay deleted.
Tweaking whitespace in a summary bullet no longer invalidates its source links — the source popover only refetches when the bullet’s actual text changes.
Empty meetings now show a friendly placeholder in the notes area so it’s clear where to start writing.
v2.0.22
May 18, 2026
Stopping a meeting from the floating widget now reliably returns you to the meeting view in the app, instead of leaving you on the wrong screen.
System notifications now use the AskHumans app icon, so alerts match the dock, tray, and widget for a consistent look.
Refreshed the floating recording widget’s icon to match AskHumans' updated visual identity.
